FORGOT THAT I NEVER POSTED THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF THIS SERIES!!! In my opinion, #4 this is the best disc in the collection. There are a dozen classics ranging from the east coast roots of Freestlye (the genre and the group), across the pond to the Brittish electro-glam of ABC, back to the wet coast with L.A. Dream Team and the Egyptian Lover (on here twice as himself and Jaime Jupitor). Along with the Dark Side of Disco compilation posted earlier, you’ve got enough computer music to rock any party back-to-the-future!
Totally forgot about posting this last week! Been working on a lot of music for my upcoming dates in the Midwest and New York. These beauties probably won’t get played at any of the shows unfortunately but if i stumble into some 1980′s B-boy battle in the Bronx, ill be lucky to have these. So will you!

The compilations are baaaaaack!!! This is my favorite series from 1994 – Street Jams: Electric Funk Vol. 1-4. There’s nothing like Rhino Records compilations to take you back in time. This four part series focuses on the 80′s sounds of early electro and b-boy anthems. Stay tuned every Monday for a new installment and put these classic jams to work!
