It’s insane to think that Brazilian home-boy, João Brasil, has been turning out tunes for 9 months already in his daunting series: 365 MashUps. With only 1/4 of the year to go, he delivers this CRAZY album that’s both abrasive and abstract, but overflowing with creativity. With great album artwork by Hardcuorethis is a pretty over the top concept, but definitely worth a mind-expanding listen.

Here’s a track we’re really excited to premier live for the first time tonight. The Girls Can Hear Us tore this song a new one with their remix and were about to take it up a notch on stage this evening.
Next Tuesday is gonna be a MASSIVE night in Tempe. Gin & Tronic has cornered the city’s market on electro, dance night and they’re not pulling any punches for the line-up on Aug. 17th. To celebrate the return of BEAT MASS to the valley, I’ll be in the building along with G&T residents PUSH & PULL, SWOOKIE MONSTER, and BAND COACH.
RSVP to the party right HERE and come down early next week for FREE DRINKS (!!!) from 8:30pm to 9:30pm
FORGOT THAT I NEVER POSTED THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF THIS SERIES!!! In my opinion, #4 this is the best disc in the collection. There are a dozen classics ranging from the east coast roots of Freestlye (the genre and the group), across the pond to the Brittish electro-glam of ABC, back to the wet coast with L.A. Dream Team and the Egyptian Lover (on here twice as himself and Jaime Jupitor). Along with the Dark Side of Disco compilation posted earlier, you’ve got enough computer music to rock any party back-to-the-future!
