The newly launched CHROMEO blog posted an amazing, seven minute version of Prince practicing “Erotic City” in 1984.  It got me thinking about good friend and amazing producer, MERCURIUS FM.  He recently sent me  his recent remix of another timeless track off the Purple Rain soundtrack, “I Would Die 4 U”.

Here’s a link to all the vintage Prince videos hosted on The Daily Swarm. They’re so raw but still sounds incredible! Dude is one of the best performers ever, hands down.  Makes me wish i was even a twinkle in my parents eye back in ’84 so i could have enjoyed this in person…

Everything is going down at Bar Smith for their weekly party, Fuse Friday.  Good friend The Ariel will be opening up the evening as well, celebrating his birthday and popping bottles all up in the DJ booth.
